Windows 10: 0x80072F8F

I have reset my laptop as it was running slow (back to factory settings)

After it says I need to activate windows again,


- I have tried resetting the time/date and it does not work

- I have done command prompts


My online account states my laptop is linked with my laptop but when I run a diagnostic it will not find it,


I am stuck as it will not allow me to update or do anything


please help,

What game application were you trying to download when you received the error?

Microsoft Store Forza Horizon 3 Delux

I intended to download for PC NOT Xbox or Phone

Are you experiencing the same error when downloading other apps?

Yes - we tried on other apps

Error message is 0x80072F8F

What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

None so far - the Windows Versions referred to to resolve the issues are not the same as mine - I am uncertain as to how to proceed

What build and version of Windows 10 are you using?

Windows 10 Home version

Version 1607

OS Build 14393.1066
