Windows 10: 0x80080005 error and error 2 wuauserv service

i tried one troubeshooting to fix error 0x80080005 method and i found out i got error 2 for wuauserv service, how do you fix it?windows 10 homecomputer is Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55

wuauserv ( windows update service) could not be started. Error in starting wuauserv service

I was trying to resolve windows update error 0x80080005 and found a solution which says to stop first the wuauserv service but when i tried to do so in cmd I got :

system32>net start wuauserv

the wuauserv service could not be started

A system error has occured

System error 2 has occured

System cannot find the file specified

How to start it?

because the solution I want to try to resolve 0x80080005 demands to stop it first.

 

Windows Update Error (0x80080005) and 'wuauserv' not starting

Hi. I am not able to update my windows because of non-functional windows update service. Every time I run 'Check for updates', I get error (0x80080005). I tried suggested methods of stopping 'wuauserv', 'bits', 'cyrptsvc', 'msiserver' and starting them again
but the 'wuauserv' won't start at all. Always throws in this error:

The wuauserv service could not be started.

A system error has occurred.

System error 2 has occurred.

The system cannot find the file specified.

I tried windows update troubleshooter and 'sfc /scannow' too, but didn't work. I am running Windows 10 (Version 1909), OS build - 18363.657. I don't have any third party antivirus installed, just the Windows Defender. I ran cmd in 'Run as Admin' mode for
all the above stated processes.

Windows Update - error 0x80080005. Windows Defender error. Wuauserv error

Hi, so i am having this problem were i try to update windows but i get a code with (0x80080005).

The system services - only Windows Update Medic Service.

"The wuauserv service could not be started", "A system error has occured.", " System erroe 2 has occured.", "The system cannot find the file specified".

Windows defender not work. Nothing shows in the defender window.

Help.
