Windows 10: 0x80240017 error problem

hey, so theres i game i just bought for 10 dollars and it asked me to download the microsoft visual c++ runtime, i downloaded it and it downloaded pretty fine, but the game still asks me to download it, even though its already on the pc desk, i downloaded the whole microsoft visual c++ 2015 Redistributable pack, and when i tried to download it it says error, it said the error was for an unknown reason, i tried to download microsoft visual c++ 2015-2019 Redistributable and still, it wont, if anybody can give me a tip, i would love that the error code was 0x80240017, Thanks.

I have a problem, with a user who has one single update that will not apply to the machine.

twice no luck and still unable to apply the update, as anyone else been able to resolve this particular update *Mad*Mad*Mad*Mad*Mad.
