Windows 10: 0xc0000225 registry missing error after using Rufus

Hello, I have a problem caused by a problem. It started with the most recent Win10 update (from version 19041.685). After the update, I received a 0xc000021a code and could neither boot regularly nor in safe mode. Dism informed me that Wof.sys "encountered a corruption in the compressed file's Resource." That seemed like a fairly common thing, and someone suggested that I use Rufus to try to solve it. Ok. I used an iso from MS and rufus did the rest with a bootable USB drive. Unfortunately, within a minute of getting Rufus going on my computer (to the desktop), it crashed. I immediately rebooted and received the 0xc0000225 code--which makes me long for good 'ol 0xc000021a. The error said the registry was corrupt or missing files. I can still get in WinRE (others with the error couldn't), but I can't do much. SFC and DISM halt immediately; their brief logs providing little insight (to me, anyhow). The two system restore points I had vanished. I rebuilt the BCD, but that did nothing. So I'm lost as to what to do next. I've read that the error often results from the registry not being closed properly, but I have no idea which registry keys would be relevant. Any help would be greatly appreciated I've attached the sfc log.

0xc0000225 boot error

For some odd reason when I turned on my computer today, I was greeted with the error 0xc0000225 stating that my NLS files were corrupt/missing. I am Running Vista x64 and so far have tried the following:

Replace NLS files
Windows repair utility
Restored an old working registry backup
Tried booting with different ram configurations
Created new BCD / Boot
Chkdsk


Google suggests something about apci, but my gigabyte ud3p doesn't have such an option (already vista compatible) and it seems to only occur to people who are initially installing and not people who already have a working copy.

BSOD, boot error 0xc000000f and system registry error 0xc0000225

Hi, I may have messed up my Windows quite abit after trying to do system restore while having problems with my GPU driver, all I had to do was reinstall the driver but I did a mistake of starting system restore after running DDU.

So this is what I did after searching stuff online, with pictures, in case it might help understanding my problem

I created a USB bootable media using rufus, and booted into it. I click into the UEFI:USB instead of the USB:USB because the latter did nothing and proceed to BSOD, while the first indeed boot into installation window.





Then I just proceed into the command prompt because startup repair did absolutely nothing.

I tried the bootrec.exe method because every tutorial I found lead to it, and did the steps carefully, but to no avail, it only returned to "the requested system device cannot be found" everytime after /rebuildbcd.





I also tried various other methods, but nothing worked, I dont know much about IT but after searching stuff, I suspect its because my windows partition is not GPT, while I boot up the media through UEFI so the USB media isnt working properly, is this the case?
