Windows 10: 0xc00007b

There's been a persistent issue that prevents me from successfully launching the game "Men of War: Assault Squad 2." I've contacted the game support, and they very graciously gave me many instructions and recommendations for which course of action I should take in an effort to resolve the issue, but each was to no avail unfortunately. Additionally, I posted on the Steam forums and one person responded, but his suggestion didn't do anything for me either. After the employee for Customer Support from 1c expended the list of potential resolutions that they had given to me, the employee referred me to Microsoft, so that's why I'm posting on here. I would like to know if anyone is familiar with the 0xc00007b "the application was unable to start correctly" error, the causes of it, and/or any potential resolutions that could be applied.

I get this error 0xc00007b whenever I start assassin's creed 3 and sleeping dogs

Oh you’re very welcome, sorry for the late response. Here’s the issue with that, the 0xc00007b is just the error code... it’s the flag for something else (corrupt DLL, reg entry, etc). I’m still digging for what piece to fix, and feel as if it might be
a moving target.

What’s the make and model of your PC? When did this error start?

When i turn on my Surface pro 4 windows will not load.

I'm getting an error saying: Status: 0xc00007b and Info: An unexpected error has occurred.

It says insert your disk & start from there but it's a surface pro 4 with no disk drive & windows came pre-loaded on it i.e. I don't have a copy of it on USB or anyting.

How do I proceed from here please?
