    I am getting the above error when attempting to update the apps in the microsft store.


    I've already installed Advance System Care on my computer, due the suggestion on the web and that still have not fixed the problem.


    I would appreciate it, if someone could assist me with a fix for this problem as I am also unable to install the apps as well.

    Installing updates to apps from the Microsft Store

    Hi Ron,

    A software conflict or system issue can cause a slow performance when installing updates for your apps from Windows Store.

    As an initial troubleshooting, please perform the following:

    • Make sure that the Date, Time, Time Zone and Location are configured correctly on your PC.
    • Refresh your Account by signing out from the Windows Store and sign back in.

    After the steps are done, we recommend resetting the Windows Store cache:

    • Press the ‘Windows + R’ key on the keyboard.
    • Type "Wsreset.exe" and press
      Enter.

    Let us know if you need anything else.

    Windows Store not updating existing apps

    We may need to resolve the Windows Update error first, so that you can update the apps on the
    Windows Store. Let's refer to this article. Here are the suggested steps to follow:

    • Choose the version of your Windows (Windows 10).
    • Select No under Step 2 (Run the Windows Update troubleshooter).
    • Download the most recent KB. If you have done this step, click
      No to proceed to Step 4.
    • Run the DISM command. Follow the steps that will be provided.

    Error 0x80073cfe that started after the latest Windows update may occur in Windows Store due to corrupted package repository. For us to fix this error, we suggest that you reset the Windows Store cache and try installing apps again. To reset the Windows
    Store cache, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R to open the Run window.
    • Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.
