    0xC1900101 - 0x20017 error with In Place Upgrade


    I have been trying to upgrade my Windows 1909 system to the 2004 version. However, I keep running into the 0xC1900101 - 0x20017 error. My drivers and antivirus all are up to date, I've tried installing with antivirus disabled. Still doesn't work.

    Did you try the list of quick fixes which include removal of third party AV.

    Hi Antony,

    As i am getting error code 0xC1900101 - 0x20017 but you suggested to refer 0xc1900101-0x40017. Just asking which one is right solution for my
    issue ?

    I have already tried the steps mentioned for error code 0xC1900101 - 0x20017 but No luck.

    I also tried to upgrade through Windows Update but same error.
