    Hello everyone.

    I am using a HP omen laptop with windows 10. Recently I have been observing that the fans start to rotate at high speeds, just after 5 minutes or so after switching the PC on. So I have tried to find which process is causing this through task manager but all I see is that the CPU usage is at 100% but before I get to see the process name, the usage goes down to 20% or so. And also the PC is frequently going to the blue-screen saying "critical process died" and that it needs to restart.

    cpu usage at 100%

    CPU usage at 100% from start up for no apparently good reason. Service Host appears to be the problem but I cant narrow it down more than that at present.

    Any suggestions?

    I am using Windows 10 full release version 64 bit.

    CPU Usage 100%

    PC starts with 100% cpu usage. It won't come down even cpu is left idle. Cpu fan won't stop, when temp are normal.

    As you can see my CPU usage is always 100%, Due to this CPU fan never stops, even when temperature are normal.

    When I turn on pc, it always starts with 100% cpu usage. I also ran malware and antivirus scans, couldn't help (Quick Heal antivirus).

    Using Windows 10 updated to latest version.
