    12th Gen i7 cpu fails 24H2 Upgrade as Non-Compliant

    I have had several attempts at the 24H2 upgrade on my Dell Latitude 7530, via Win Update and in-place upgrades, all have failed. One Win Update produced an error 0xc8007193f, others were not so helpful. An in-place using Update Assistant eventually said my machine was non-compliant while the rest only said "Failed". I was so astounded that I downloaded the Health Checkup routine which confirmed that I was fully compliant. Another laptop 8th gen Latitude upgraded via Update with no warning a couple of days ago. Any ideas what might be causing this?

    :)

    Core i7 10th or 11th Gen CPUs

    Hi Microsoft:

    Why don't the Core i7, specifically, the 10th or 11th Gen CPUs have integrated graphics ? I checked several websites (newgg.com.......amazon.com....) none of them sell Core i7 CPUs with integrated graphics.

  3. CPU upgrade for Windows 11

    Hi Jeffrey,

    You have i5 2nd gen which is quite old. Motherboards can handle only specific CPUs, so you need to upgrade the motherboard too. Anything that supports the 8th gen would work, the latest gen is the 12th. You can go with i3, i5 and i7 as per your performance need.

    Additionally, Windows 10 is supported until 2025 so there is no hurry.

    Persistent Blue Screens after Upgrading to 12th Gen Intel Platform - Need Assistance

    Hello, community,

    I hope you're all doing well. I'm reaching out for assistance as I've recently upgraded my system to a 12th Gen Intel platform, including a new motherboard, processor, and RAM. However, I've been experiencing persistent blue screens, particularly during gaming sessions. I've collected additional information, including the specific error codes, and I'm hoping someone can provide insights or guidance to help me resolve this issue.

    System Specs:

    • Motherboard: Asrock H610M HDV/M.2 {NEW}
    • Processor: Intel Core i5 12400f {NEW}
    • RAM: XPG Delta RGB DDR4 3200MHZ 16GB {NEW} (XMP PROFILE ON)
    • Graphics Card: GTX 1050Ti {OLD}
    • Storage 1: XPG NVME 256GB Gen 4 {NEW}
    • Storage 2: Kingston SATA SSD 240GB {OLD}
    • Storage 3: WDBLUE 1TB
    • PSU: 500 Watt Generic Repaired Cooler Master 80+
    Peripherals:

    • Keyboard: Redragon K582
    • Mouse: Rapoo VT200
    • Webcam: Lenovo HD 1080p camera
    • Mousepad 1: Gamdias XXL RGB mousepad
    • Mousepad 2: Xonova Phobos
    Blue Screen Error Codes:

    1. WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (Windows 10)
    2. SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (Windows 11)
    3. STARTUP REPAIR ERROR: C:\Windows\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt (Windows 11)
    Upgrade Information: I recently upgraded my platform from an i5 4th gen to the following:

    • Motherboard: Asrock H610M HDV/M.2
    • Processor: Intel Core i5 12400f
    • RAM: XPG Delta RGB DDR4 3200MHZ 16GB (XMP PROFILE ON)
    Financial Constraints: I'm on an extreme budget, and I've made these upgrades using installment plans. If you have any suggestions for potential hardware upgrades or replacements to address the blue screen issues, I kindly request that you provide Amazon.in links for the products. Please keep in mind the budget constraints.

    Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

    1. Checked for overheating - temperatures within safe limits.
    2. Updated graphics drivers for GTX 1050Ti.
    3. Tested RAM stability with XMP profile on and off.
    4. Verified the integrity of the power supply unit (PSU).
    5. Ensured all device drivers are up to date.
    6. Installed the latest Windows updates.
    7. Examined the Windows Event Viewer for error messages.
    8. I Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic, and no issues were found.
    Despite these efforts, the blue screens persist, and I'm unsure about the next steps. If anyone has experienced similar issues or has expertise in troubleshooting these specific error codes after upgrading to a 12th Gen Intel platform, your advice would be highly valued.

    Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

    Best regards,
