Windows 10: 1440p with GTX 1080ti, 2080 or 2080 Super. performance?

Looking for feedback on people who have a 1440p monitor with 1080ti 2080 or 2080 super. I am currently using a 1080p monitor but feel tempted to upgrade to 1440p at some point. How does your performance look like at 1440p? I watched some benchmarks online and most of them lose a big chunk of Frames almost like 40FPS. That's the main reason I am not too sure about upgrading.

Looking to play games like Assassins Creed Odyssey, Death Stranding (July 14), Rust, Division 2, Modern Warfare (2019)...

GTX 2080 sounds off to me lol, GTX 1180/1280 is more like it.

Ok this sounds good. Games utilizing DLSS (Deep Learning Super-Sampling) from the Turing tensor cores will run games x2 (100%) faster, and games who don't will run x1.5 (50%) faster. A good margin over the assumptions. Still though, It's from Nvidia's hypetrain so it's better to wait and see real benchmarks. This also doesn't explain if enabling RT will have a major negative impact on performance on weaker GPUs in the series.

Addendum: I just found out the answer to my question… and it's not looking good for the performance on RT, at least not at the moment. Nvidia's Flagship RTX 2080 Ti Can't Hit 1080p 60FPS In New 'Tomb Raider' . Should be noted that it's uncertain this is with or without DLSS and any form of optimized drivers. But the game is out in a month (the game's gone gold) and if a 2080Ti can't do this properly even at 1080p then I'm not so sure a 2070 with 6 GR/s can maintain 60 either. Looks like RT will be a big hit even for the 20 series.

This will show logs to my recent setup I did today so you will see a 980gtx installed aswell as I have been trying some stuff today.

trying to install that driver for the 2080 ti as in windows 7 it would install the driver for both cards (980 gtx and 2080 Ti) not my planned setup of course, i was just trying to see if i could get any further with the installation, and it did seem to help
a little i got as far as it accepting that I have nvidia cards installed but as far as installing them , it tried and then failed.
