    Hello.


    I've been having a problem lately with my laptop lately. I have an Asus laptop with a 144hz monitor, an Intel core i7 and a graphics card Nvidia gtx 2060.

    I've had this laptop for over a year now and now problems have shown up but lately there have been some problems with the display. Before, games like Tomb Raider 2013, Fortnite or Rocket League would run perfectly at 144 fps. Lately last month or so they hardly run at 40-60 fps. Why is this? I already ran Windows troubleshooter and it said everything was fine. Don't really know where to post this, so if you know a place where this issue would be better handled i'd appreciate it.

    144hz Monitor

    I have a 144hz monitor but when i checked the monitors optimal hz it said 60hz i can change the hz to 144hz but im not sure if ill damage the monitor

    144Hz monitor working on windows 7 but not win10

    According monitor's manual 2560x1440@144Hz is supported with both DisplayPort and HDMI 2.0. If you cannot reach this resolution following steps in manual you may ask a help from BenQ or Gigabyte support.
