Windows 10: 16 gb 7.88 gb usable

Discus and support 16 gb 7.88 gb usable in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; HelloI have a 16gb ram but it only use 7.88 gb out of it.How do i fix this.Ive already did any other fix method such as going to msconfic,going to...     16 gb 7.88 gb usable


    HelloI have a 16gb ram but it only use 7.88 gb out of it.How do i fix this.Ive already did any other fix method such as going to msconfic,going to setting,about pc and device protection.If you are about to say go to bios and turn on memory mapping my a68hm k motherboard dont have it.Please help me Its been a week trying to find answer.

    winodws 10 24 gb ram installed only 16 usable

    I just upgraded from win 7 home premium 64 bit to win 10

    I know that the windows 7 version I had only went up

    to 16 gb of ram but I thought that Windows 10 had up

    to 128 gb limit.

    It still shows in the system that 24 gb is installed but only 16 is usable

    anyway to fix this, or do I need to try and create an install disk to do

    a clean install?

    My mb supports up to 32 gb ram

    Why 2.66 GB usable in 4 GB ram?

    Thanks to everyone for their valuable suggestions. I guess the problem was with the OS.Because after increasing my ram from 4 gb to 8 gb still the usable memory was 2267 mb out of 8 gb, then I did a clean install of Windows 7.Now everything is fine and smooth, and usable memory is 7.9 gb out of 8 gb.

    Back in 12 10 2022 my Home's power went out from a storm while my PC was running. When it came back on the PC would not start, BIOS said it had no hard drive. So I put in an old HDD and installed it. Everything is ok but really slow. I had 48 GB in and it showed 2.10 GB usable. I took the 2 of the 16 GB sticks I just bought and left the 2 8 GB sticks still in and still show 2.10 Gb.

    I ran msconfig.exe / System Configuration / Boot/ Advanced options/

    It shows Maximum memory says "0" so I changed it to 16,384 and rebooted but it do nothing.

    I'm hoping the RAM is not trash, I just bought that 32 GB in November.
