Windows 10: 16gb ram 50% idle usage incredibly laggy onedrive/file explorer

I recently got an alienware aurora r10 gaming pc around in July. Here are my specs. The ram usable is around 50% idle which is not normal.

File explorer is also incredibly laggy at times. Especially when that green bar is at the top in file explorer which I think means onedrive syncing. Examples of some things are crashing and restarting on right clickgoes unresponsive for like 15 sec then windows auto restarts it, no icons just the windows default icons for exes and other files, but the icons reappear on a explorer restart. getting stuck on screen where it says working on it, nothing appearing in the quick access / menu bar on the left, when these thing happen sometimes the window goes unresponsive and windows restarts file explorer in like a minute. usually the glitches stop happening when the onedrive syncing is done. sometimes file explorer just becomes unusable with these glitches. How can I fix these issues and are they even related please help!

RAM usage 50±% on idle.

Hello, my laptop uses around 50% RAM usage when its not doing anything.

I'd like to have this fixed.

without Firefox its on 43% usage, which still looks alot for me considering it to be on idle.

BitDefender was updating.

I actually have 8gb of ram, not 4gb.

 

33% Ram Usage While Idle

I've been monitoring my computer's activity lately and this just came to my attention. While my computer is idle, 33% of my computer's ram is in usage. I have 16gb of ram and I'm just curious if this is normal to have 5.2gb of ram being used while idle.
If it is not normal, what can I do to lower the amount of ram used while idle? If it is normal, what is causing this ram usage?
