    1803 breaks network drives?

Here's something that forced a rollback from the Windows 10 version 1803 update. After installing the update, I could no longer write to or reach a USB flash drive that was being used as a network drive through a Linksys router. All attempts to solve this failed, and Microsoft level two support could not find a solution. The only way out was to roll back to version 1709. Right now, this is an unsolvable problem, and that evaluation comes from Microsoft support. You may want to check for similar trouble after installing version 1803.

  2. Windows 10 Pro and Ergnomic Break Reminder

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

Do you remember installing any break reminder software?

It looks like it is a pop up from a break reminder software.

I suggest you to look for this in Programs in features and uninstall it if do not use it.

    Try the following steps:

    • Press Windows + R keys to open Run Command

    • Type Appwiz.cpl and hit enter

    • Search for the programs and un-install it.

    Regards,

After "Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803" the network internet connection breaks all the time.

After "Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803" the network internet connection breaks all the time.

    Both Ethernet and Wi-Fi break.

Troubleshooting several times but doesn't work.

    It's terrible.

  4. 1803 breaks network drives?

Help needed with simple wired network

Step one- Connect all PC's to router, and then the router to the modem. PC's go to router by the ports labeled "1-4" on the back of the router. WAN port goes to router. Power up all network equipment, and then systems.
Step two- Power on the computer connected to port one. Go into router settings at 192.168.0.1 and configure internet, dyndns, firewall, etc.
Step three- Go to "network set up wizard" in windows. (Network places- network set up wizard). The rest is self explanatory.
Step four- right click on each drive and printer you want to share, and then configure sharing preferences. Should be easy enough.
Step five- right click my computer, and the select "map network drive". Using the network address for each piece of hardware you shared, assign network drive letters.

Congratulations, you have a fully operational network. Happy Gaming! *Toast :toast:
