Windows 10: 1809 or 19H1 (wait and see game)

Our in house builds have been trying to keep up with the whole WaaS model, deploying 1703,1709, 1803 but it is already November and 1809 is no where to be found yet. 19H1 (aka 1903) will be sometime in March, I assume, so if 1809 isn't available until December or January, then as a organization, why would I even consider 1809? Should I just stop planning 1809 rollout and skip it since it can't seem to get out the door on time, adding to the fact that the organization has a bitter taste about even considering 1809 at this point. Will I even get the option to opt-out of 1809 since we are talking about a total possible deployment timeline of maybe half the amount of time we would see it vs. when 19H1 hits? It seems 1809 is going to be 1812/1901. I can't hit my clients with a major feature update, then in 2 months another one.


I just want to know the thinking, because honestly this is stressing out this engineer.
