Windows 10: 1809 Update Stuck on Initialising

I have an HP laptop (I3 processor 4MB ram - Kaspsersky anti virus turned off for the update currently on Windows Version 1803 - OS17134.471). The 1809 Feature Update has started but my update message has said it is initialising for over three hours. ( I have a very slow internet connection of 1.8 Mbs). The router lights suggest something is happening but this seems very long compared to previous big updates which usually initialise quickly and then take ages to download). Do I need to be patient or is something wrong?

hi joydeep sir when i check for updates for 1809 it got stuck and keep saying check for update and no updates showing or not saying up to date even.

 

Windows 10 1709 and 1809 stuck at 10% installation! Updates in Win 10 Pro X64 freezes!

I try to upgrade from 1709 to 1809 direct is that possible?

But all fail and stuck, hang and freez the system every time i try to upgrade, to 1803 or 1809.

It treat on updates and specialy cumulative updates my system like a virus.

Any suggestion or help or information that help to solve my problem are very welcome.
