hello i'm trying to upgrade my preview build 18932 to 18936 but everytime when computer start's installing, it reboots and goes in error.

Sometimes it start beeping with black screen and only way to buypass this problem is to unplug it from electricity and plug again and turn it on.

Sometimes it shows this error : driver overran stack buffer.

What can i do ?

The DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER bug check has a value of 0x000000F7. This indicates that a driver has overrun a stack-based buffer.

Cause

A driver overran a stack-based buffer (or local variable) in a way that would have overwritten the function's return address and jumped back to an arbitrary address when the function returned.

This is the classic "buffer overrun" hacking attack. The system has been brought down to prevent a malicious user from gaining complete control of it.

Resolution

Use the kb (Display Stack Backtrace) command to get a stack trace.

The last routine on the stack before the buffer overrun handlers and bug check call is the one that overran its local variable.

 

Blue Screen: DRIVER OVERRAN STACK BUFFER

Hi, I was trying to install windows from usb. So after formatting all the drives and going to the next step, where the windows files start to copy, I get a Blue screen "DRIVER OVERRAN STACK BUFFER"
and my pc restarts. This keeps on happening and cant install windows or go back to my previous windows beacuase of the format. Please help me on this. Thank You
