Windows 10: 1903 update also messed my system up

The latest update 1903 is buggy, installed on my computer great, but and ran ok but after it restarted black screen, thought my gfx card was faulty, checked cables etc …. everything ok restarted BSOD …. reset …. black screen …. checked cables …. restarted computer came on sound was scratchy and terrible (have 5.1 speakers ), never sounded like this before …. restarted …. bsod …. thought my screen was broke …. 2 more updates ….. bsod … then computer after 4 attempts finally ran, had enough so rolled back …………. computer fine not a problem and everything back to normal.


How many times will I have to roll back before this gets fixed?

As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.

Windows update, 1903

• my update 1903 has been stuck at 99% for 4 hours now. It say downloading. Yet nothing is. Has CPU maxed. Please advise

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
