Windows 10: 1903 UPDATE KILLS WIFI CARD, NO WAY BACK

NOPE, MS DID THE 1903 UPDATE AND EVEN WHEN I TRIED TO UNDO THE UPDATE,

DID NOT WORK WIFI CARD DOES NOT EXIST,


(FUNNY HOW THE HECK DO YOU THINK I DOWNLOADED THE UPDATE ? ON WIFI !)


THIS IS MICROSOFTS UPDATE TEAMS FAULT !


*CAN'T UNINSTALL or ROLL BACK A DRIVER THATS NOT THERE ANYMORE !*


RESET THE PC & DOWNLOAD DRIVERS FROM LENOVO !

AND AGAIN NO WIFI CARD.


QUIT ROLLING OUT UPDATES THAT ARE NOT TESTED !

I AM CALLING AN ATTORNEY IN THE MORNING, I WILL LOOSE 3 CLIENTS TOMORROW BECAUSE OF MS UPDATES !

No WiFi in Win10 Pro (1903) Windows Sandbox


I (seemingly) successfully updated my Surface Pro 6 to v.1903 today, and after some initial fumbles enabling it, now have Windows Sandbox enabled and it seems to open just fine. However, there is no WiFi access within Sandbox.

Accessing Settings for Network & Internet, the list on the left is:
Status
Ethernet
Dial-up
VPN
Airplane mode
Date usage
Proxy
WiFi appears no place in that window. Network status shows No Internet Access.

What step am I missing to be able to access the internet from within the Sandbox using my computer's WiFi connection?

Known issues for Windows 10 May 2019 Update version 1903


As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.

Wifi and browser problems with windows 10


I'll tell you how I fixed an identical problem on a ASUS laptop that had run perfectly on Windows 7 and ran well on W10 from January until the Anniversary update in early August. I tried everything I found on this forum and two others. Nothing worked. The last thing someone suggested was disabling the adapter and using a WiFi dongle. Problem continued. Nobody suggested changing the wireless network adapter. I bought and installed an Intel 7260 WiFi card and just used the driver which was downloaded on the reboot after the install. All problems solved!!

I must have wasted two months reading and trying everything. Even the manufacturer support inferred I needed a new machine though they sent me a Windows 8.1 driver to try, with the same result.

I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to determine if they white list any cards and see if they have suggestions for a compatible card. They may want you to buy another laptop but if the cards aren't white listed, a simple card swap to one compatible with Windows 10 seems to be the answer.
