Same thing with Win10 build 1809 have duplicate(s) of drive(s) that are non-removable marked as removable. Which is why new post.
Drives are also listed in Safely Remove Hardware and Media as removable but now includes my C:\ drive SSD
,above has had that issue for some time.

So 3 internal drives/non-removable showing as removable. or 2 drives

Windows has recreated the key. I've just found another way to hide the duplicate removable drives. You can download the REG file here.

[Solved] Drives appear twice in Windows 10 File Explorer navigation pane

You need to logoff and login back for the changes the take effect.

(There is also a UNDO file if you want to revert back the setting.)

As you have recommended above I will attempt to give you a crude picture of the File Explorer screen:

In the left pane the drives are listed as follows

Windows (C

Recovery (D

TOSHIBA Canvio Hard Drive (F

TOSHIBA Canvio Hard Drive (F

The two above are USB 3.0 drives and are duplicate images (the problem).

In the right pane (Folder/File) for each of the duplicate drives (F are the following Folder/File: Upon examination of these folder/files for each drive they seem to be identical but I can't be certain of that. Here is a picture of the right pane for
each drive.

When you say Navigation panel where are you?

If ti is File Explorer, there is a lot of duplication in the list of drives.
