Windows 10: 2 monitors one large 1920 and the other serial 12 x 12

Greetings


Have a server running Win 10 pro version 1809 . Installed a widescreen monitor and I had to go out and buy a usb adapter for the widescreen resolution . Changed the monitors from default 1 to new 2 as the main monitor . Every few days the monitor reverts back to a black screen with a mouse pointer but cannot open windows . Need to re attach the serial monitor assigned in monitor 1 default and reassign the monitors back to the new widescreen as mian 1 Right click desktop/display settings/shift 2 to 1 and save etc. . Does anyone know a fix for this ? Running a raid 5 array on this pc as it is set up as a 10 terabyte storage pc with 4 drives . The pc works fantastic but the monitor is driving me crazy as I have attempted all sorts of fixes but it comes down to not recognizing the USB monitor as a perm monitor via usb for some reason .

1920 X 1080 is not on recommended resolution list

my monitor has 1920 X 1080 resolution, but 1920 X 1080 is not on recommended resolution list. how can I get 1920 X 1080 resolution listed?

Hey guys, I'm looking to step up my game a bit and go with a dual screen set-up at 1920 x 1200 and since the market seems to have taken a turn for the worst this last year w/ those monitors.... I was hoping you may have some sitting around that you would like to part with.

• Display port would be wonderful but not needed

have 2 monitors both 2560 x 1440 and the system will only allow one monitor to be 2560 by 1440 and the other is set to 1920 x 1080
