Windows 10: 2 speakers dont work

Hello so when i bought this pc i wasnt interested in music but now i want to use a speaker for music and headphones for gameplay but it dosent work when i plug them both the headphones dont show up in mmsys.cpl only the speakers do and headphones are named speakers and i cant use both at same time

Speakers and headphones work at the same time

• Have you tried connecting your headphones directly to your desktop?
• Does your speaker work normally when connected to your desktop?

You may try the following steps to help resolve your concern:

• Unplug or Disconnect your speaker from the desktop.
• Connect your headphone directly to the desktop.

If the headphone works properly when directly connected to the desktop, we suggest that you contact your speaker manufacturer for assistance.

Lumia 930 microphone doesn't work on speaker

Hi, I have same issue on Lumia 930, have tried the various steps proposed by Microsoft, have also tried updating software to Windows 10 but to no avail. While a number of posts on this topic suggest it is likely to be a hardware bug, my symptoms seem to
indicate software:

• while using the phone normally (not on speaker) the microphones work perfectly. IE microphones 1 and 2 at the bottom of the phone appear to be working 100%
• while using the phone on speaker, microphones 1 and 2 (see http://forums.windowscentral.com/nokia-lumia-930/328279-2.htm for good photos of microphone locations) seem to be completely off
• while using phone on speaker, microphones 3 and 4 at the top of the phone seem to work reasonably as long as I'm close to the phone. Not as well as they should on a speakerphone though.
• microphone on headset works fine

This does look to be a very widespread issue ... any updates from Microsoft?

Help with only 2 speakers working on 5.1 setup ...sounblaster xfi

Hey guys a buddy of mine has a soundblaster xfi on a win 7 system. For some reason he can only get his 2 front speakers working with any media. In the creative software during the testing of speakers all 5.1 work but when it come to games or movies or any media he can only get the 2 front working and has tried everything.
Any suggestions.?
