Those 2 seems to install fine

I keep on getting failure for "Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2538243) - Error 0x80070643" on windows 10.

I have windows 10 version 1909 (OS Build 18363.720).

As temporary fix has been provided : https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca...t-a-windows-update-from-reinstalling-in-windo

Once new update comes this Error reappears.

Please let me know, how can I permanently remove this Error?

 

2008 Service Pack 1 'update' problems

Getting a bit miffed with this error. I 've tried almost everything I can find on the Windows support pages they recommend. All the answers are the same copy and paste answers that never work. Now this is stopping any other updates and driver installs.

Anyone here have a way of getting this sorted please ?
