Windows 10: 2019-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4480966) -...

I have an older Core 2 Quad based PC that runs Windows 10 just fine, but this error never resolves it self and it's been like this for months, constantly nagging me to update my PC, when it won't work. I also have ample drive space available for it to do this update, with about 90GB free.


I've tried disabling windows update, deleting the Downloads folder where the updates go and still nothing changes. I can't use restore PC since i disabled that useless feature. Since if i really need to do something like that I'm better off clearing the HDD, and clean-installing windows, which is something i might need to do soon anyway if this stupid issue won't resolve it self.


I can't tell if this is an issue with my PC, or on microsoft's side since it fails and errors almost instantly when i try to execute the update. It's like it doesn't even bother trying to download it. Sometimes it says there was an error downloading it. My main PC (i7 3820) didn't have this issue with the 1803 build update. I mostly use this Core 2 Quad PC for watching videos, movies, etc.. so in the long run this update isn't even important.

I have tried numerous times to install this update. It gives this message:

2019-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4480966) - Error 0x8007010b

Any advise would be appreciated.
