Windows 10: 2019-03 Update 1809

Continuing messages that 'needs restart'. Have repeatedly restarted, sat thru install process--no error message, but install apparently fails as Update keeps showing 'needs restart'. I am not savvy enough to know what to do. Have tried to work thru KB4489868 but have no idea what to do.

Feature Update version amd64 - 2019-03

After the last 1803 2019-04 updates installed, I saw the Feature Update 1809 AMD 64 2019-03 show up.

On 5/17/2019 while my notebook was connected to the Library's wireless network, the feature 1809 started D/L'ing and reached 93 percent completion, when I needed to shut down and pack up my notebook. It was taking too long and I could not let it continue.

A couple more sessions showed the Feature Update 1809 stating it could not complete.

I did try to get the ISO for 1809 but it took almost three hours to get to 36 percent save, so I had to stop that .

Today on the Library network two 1803 2019-05 updates installed for Flash and the MST Virus.

Also the Status of the Feature Update 1809 amd64 2019-03 is now listed as Pending Install.

The Install will happen when I am not using the notebook.

I can not let it perform the Install in the library. I must shutdown and move the notebook home, then boot there.

So does this mean that all of the Feature 1809 Update files have been saved to my notebook and the install happen as my other Quality updates had happened?

I could have maybe gotten the ISO faster, if I could get the file without needing Admin status using one of the Library's wired internet systems. The Wireless network is too slow.

 

UPDATE ISSUE: version 1809 amd64 2019-03

Hi there,

I have been trying to update the following for some time now, it goes through the processes of updating, resets and then once again repeats itself, trying to download and update.

Version 1809 amd64 2019-03

At times it says it has been unable to work correctly. When I look at my update history, it says the laptop requires an update to finish the installing - this however does not work.

I have an Acer Aspire 3, model number A315-51-341M

Trying to update to feature update 1809 2019-03 but get error code of 0x80070002

Trying to update to “Feature update Windows 10 Version 1809 amd64 2019-03” but keep getting error code of “0x80070002” is there a fix any one else is having this issue? Should I just wait for the next update? Can’t open or use anything on my pc.
