    2020-01 Cumulative Update for .NET framework 3.5 and 4.8 KB4534132


    My laptop has ground to a halt since installing this update. What took seconds to load prior to the update now takes minutes. There is a several seconds latency between typing and the characters appearing on the screen. Even the mouse icon lags... opening up an adjacent link to the one the cursor was over when clicked.


    My Windows 10 is current. I install all updates as soon as they are released.


    I uninstalled the .NET framework update within the necessary 10 days and my machine returned to the previous speed.


    I just reinstalled it and I'm immediately experiencing the same latency issues... across all programs, all applications.
