Windows 10: 2020-01 Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems KB4497165 - 0x800f0845 error

Hi,


Windows update states that I should install the above fix. But when I do I get a 0x800f0845 error.


I have a Toshiba laptop running a Intel i3-3110M CPU


When the update tries to install the microcode changes, the laptop identifies a change to the CPU and attempts a repair and uninstalls the patch.


It is curious that the patch is dated 2020-01 but Windows Updates are only installing the patch now.


Anyone got any ideas on either how I can install the patch correctly or alternatively flag it so that it does not install this patch?

I like to know what is the 2020-01 Dynamic Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems (KB4534726)? What does it do and is it important? How come I have issues installing it? There are two .exe files. Can someone tell me how to install the .exe
