Windows 10: 2024-10 updates KB5044033 & KB5044285 not installing

Is anyone else having issues installing those updates? I get "something didn't go as planned" at 96% and in event viewer shows error code 0x800f0922. I did SFC no violations found, cleared update cache, changed to partition 1 and tried manually installing the updates from the update catalog, still no dice. I have updates paused until a solution is found/given.

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

Cumulative updates for Windows - May 2024

We have multiple Windows 10 22H2 workstations that do not detect 2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5037768). If you run the Windows update list in powershell or click "Check for updates" we see the following:

KB5037771 134GB Windows 11, version 23H2

The KB listed appears to be related to the 2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 11. Why is this appearing on a Windows 10 machine and why won't the Windows 10 machine detect 2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5037768)? We have attempted the Windows Update reset script on affected already without resolution to this issue.
