Windows 10: 20H2 // Windows 10 October 2020 Update // Monitor Problem

Hello!


I am in need of some help...after installing the latest W10 update, 20H2, my second display stopped working. I run dual NVidia GEForce GTX 970s, both worked just fine before installing 20H2. I have updated both drivers through Device Manager and the NVidia desktop app, no change. I saw somewhere on the MS Community to unplug the affected monitor for a minute or so, but that did not work either. Double checked all cables, restarted the PC multiple times, but no dice.


Do I update other drivers, firmware or the motherboard? I am out of ideas...any help is apprecaited!

Windows 10, version 20H2 and Windows Server, version 20H2

Current status as of October 20, 2020
Windows 10, version 20H2 is available for users with devices running Windows 10, versions 1903 and higher who manually seek to “Check for updates” via Windows Update. The recommended servicing status is Semi-Annual Channel.

Windows 10 20H2 is in the last phase of testing i.e. Release preview channel. As the name suggests, it would be available this month hopefully.

I doubt it is a glitch. I suspect it was designed that way.
