    hi everyone ! so i have a 931 gb partition . all the files on that partition occupy only 484 GB . computer says i have only 179 GB of free space . what happened to the other 300 gb ? how could i restore them ? thanks

    My windows 10 upgrade consumes all of it's drive c: space (50 GB)

    • My windows 10 upgrade consumes all of it's drive c: space (50 GB)
    • I am unable to install the update,
    • I suspect the windows 10 need this much space and it is some kind of glitch,
    • Please suggest a way to free up some space as I don't prefer to format partition C:

    Windows 10 Anniversary Update 0x80070070 error with 300+GB free space

    I have a Nextbook 32gb and had just over 16 gb free (For the 32 bit Win 10) and the Windows 10 Update Assistant would give me a error code OX80070070 need more disk space. I downloaded MS Media Creation Tool and had no problem updating to the Windows
    10 Anniversary.

    help missing disk space

    ok guys thanks, I guess its my internet then and not the link, internets been buggy all weekend going in and out.


    it was windows recommended to be 12gb but I had it set to 8gb virtual memory set for all drives so I reset it to 2gb like you suggested but im missing 150gb so a handful of gb here and there isn't solving this thing but I do appreciate the help and it is doing good to fix these settings



    I think this was it.

    it was default set to use up to 50% of disk space so that was it. I reset it to only use 5% and now I have 465gb with 316 gb free which is more like it.
