    32GB EMMC Not Visible


    I recently added a 60GB SSD drive to my 32GB EMMC as the 32GB wasn't sufficient. I decided to have the OS installed on the SSD drive. The OS was installed successfully and functions without hiccup. However, the 32GB EMMC magically disappeared and I am now left with only the SSD.


    Please advise.

    Windows 10 Anniversary update for 32GB eMMC budget laptops?

    On a lot of the lower end laptop and tablet, etc. Windows 10 devices the 32GB eMMC storage is soldered to the board so upgrading isn't really an option.

    I recently baught Asus Eeebook E402MA with 32GB of internal non removable storage. It has provision to install an additional ssd drive in it. So i installed a 120GB SSD in it. I want to move my OS from
    the 32GB eMMC to the 120GB SSD. I tried to do the same with some third party applications but it didnt really work as expected. Can anyone please help me because the 32GB eMMC is not really sufficient especially when windows tries to install updates.

    I really would appreciate some help.

    Dear Microsoft with all the facilities at your disposal would it be possible for you to come up with a definitive answer to the problem of updating Windows 10 on 32GB eMMC laptops? Do you even care that manufacturers are selling hardware to unsuspecting
    customers fully aware that they will be unable to perform such a basic task as updating your operating system "easily" the way you designed it to be carried out?

    Can you answer some simple questions with yes or no answers please?

    1. Do you recommend customers install Windows 10 Home 64-bit on a laptop with 32GB eMMC storage?

    2. If I can't update to the next or subsequent builds will my laptop be as safe security wise to use as if I were able to update it?

    3. Do you collaborate with hardware manufacturers with regards to requirements to use Windows 10 on their machines or just sell it to them and let customers deal with the problems?
