Windows 10: 3D display mode

i was curious about 3d mode when i saw it. i turned it on and now my screen went dark. bios still works but i cant see anything outside of the bios. how am i supposed to turn it off if i cant see anything. this seriously needs to be fixed.


please help me.

3D mode option missing in Display settings after update

In order to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps, please reply with the following details:

• Which 3D mode option in Display setting are you referring?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• Which update was installed on the computer? To check go to
  Settings >> Update & Security >> Windows Update >> View update history.
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

The 3D mode option depends on the Graphics driver that you are using. You may try updating the Graphics driver and check if you are able to watch 3D movies and get the option.



Please refer the steps mentioned below to update Graphics drivers:

1. Press Windows key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand Display adapters.
   
3. Right click on the display driver and select
   Update Drivers.
   
4. Restart the computer if prompted.

Windows 10 How can I turn off 3D Hardware Acceleration?

Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

In order to disable 3D hardware acceleration, I suggest you to follow the steps below.

• Right click on the desktop and select Graphics properties.
• Select Basic Mode and hit OK.
• Go to the 3D option.
• You can disable 3D graphics acceleration from this screen.

3D mode option missing in Display settings after update

Hi my computer got an unapproved windows 10 update July 31 2019. After update I could no longer view 3d movies. So I went into display settings and the 3d mode option was no longer there so was very dissapointed OK angry I should say. Fortinately I was able
to roll back system before windows update and now works good and 3d display mode option is in the display settings. My question is as follows: Does the new windows update do away with the 3d mode display option permanently?? Or any way to install it after
the updates?
