Windows 10: 7.1 surround sound option

Discus and support 7.1 surround sound option in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I was checking some stuff after getting a new headset and noticed that the sound was set to stereo instead of dolby.     7.1 surround sound option


    I was checking some stuff after getting a new headset and noticed that the sound was set to stereo instead of dolby. And there was no 7.1 surround sound option like before. Had been a while since I looked a this stuff.

    Does not work with the 7.1 surround sound headset or 7.1 setup either. Just no option.

    Was the option removed or is there a way to set it?

    7.1 Surround Sound is missing

    After recently resetting my PC, I've noticed that i can no longer choose the option for my headset to have 7.1 surround sound. I have made sure all my drivers are up to date, and uninstalled/reinstalled them. Whenever I go into the properties of my sound
    device, i select spatial sound but no 7.1 checkbox appears anymore. It's odd as before i reset my PC it was there.

    not getting option for windows 7.1 sound

    hello here's Abhijeet

    I am using Logitech g 430 dolby and dtx 7.1 surround sound but when I installed dolby application from windows store I didn't got an oiption to change

    spital sound no option to turn on 7.1 surround sound could u help me ?

    Hi,

    I see several post and i don´t have the option to 'Turn on 7.1 virtual surround sound' checkbox in Windows 10 sound panel control.

    Really you can´t select this option in current branch 1903?
