Installed Norton antivirus and began experiencing these crashes. Have gone thru the process and believe I wiped it off my device but think that some of the changes it made to the system are still in place and continuing to cause my device to crash. I have attached a screenshot of some the info from event viewer and am more than happy to get you any additional information. 2. explorer.exe and sihost.exe crashes at startup (happens randomly)

Ever since the brownout occured in the afternoon, now I get the explorer.exe and sihost.exe crashes at startup, plus it happens randomly.

First step I did was using the sfc /scannow and it didn't find anything wrong. Does anyone have the same problem or is it something that is ciritically wrong such as hardware. Thanks! (70368744177664),(2) Crashes randomly happening :)

Hi, my PC restarts by it self with out any warning, Sometimes it is more than once a day and other times it could take up to two weeks before restarting by it self.

In the event viewer I found the following code:

    (70368744177664),(2).

I tired to Google it, but none of the search results offered a real solution.

This is not a gaming PC, it is used for regular home office applications and internet browsing.

    Any suggestions please?

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
