Windows 10: 8bitdo SN30 Pro Plus Bluetooth Controller Driver Error in Windows 11

Hey there,My 8bitdo SN30 Pro Plus controller has slowly lost its functionality within Windows 11 over the past week. At the beginning of the week, it connected via Bluetooth perfectly and functioned without issue. Then, within the past few days I want to say this all started Thursday, my controller was able to connect via Bluetooth, but was not recognized within any of my gaming programs. Then, today, my controller only connected successfully the first time I connected it per session. Any attempts to reconnect it after turning the Bluetooth off and back on were met with a Driver Error. I had

Bluetooth driver error 10 when converted to Windows 10

Apologies for the late reply.

Error code 10 is a driver error, as you have already tried to install the drivers I would suggest you to un-install and re-install drivers and check.



Try the following steps:


Follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Right on the start icon and click on device manager
  
• 
  Select Bluetooth adapter, right click on it and click on un-install.
  
• 
  Restart the computer,
  
• 
  Now, install the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.

Thanks for following up. I missed the part when you mentioned that you already attempted to rebuild BCD and I apologize for that. Moving along, the next step that we can suggest is to use a different driver for the IDE ATA/ATAPI controller. Here are the
steps:

• Go to Control panel > Hardware and Sound >
  Device manager.
• Open the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers tab.
• Select the controller 'SATA AHCI,' right click and select Properties.
• Choose the Driver tab and Driver Details and check if the driver found there is 'iastor.sys'.
• Select Update Driver Software, Browse and Let me Pick from a list of devices.
• Select 'Standard SATA AHCI Controller' from the list and install.
• Restart your PC.

This process was found to be a fix to the majority of reported WATCHDOG_VIOLATION errors in windows 10. If the issue still persist, we suggest updating all other drivers, especially your graphics card driver
manually.
