A few issues post Creators update

Creators update installed quite well on my small storage 2-in-1 tablet PC, clearing up a few long-standing malfunctions in the process. However, there are a few issues to be resolved:

    1. I cannot get the PIN sign-in option to work --- the option is not offered at sign-in and in Settings ADD PIN produces little or no response -- it did work for a day only after the update

    2. After trying many fixes I have had 40 Store apps queued for download / update, only getting 'error or pending' messages. Creators has reduced this to a queue of 25 but the rest still will not finish downloading

    3. Microsoft Sticky Notes with the useful Insights did work but no longer does, there is no response to clicking the icon or tile and reset in Settings has no effect

    Any suggestions?

    :)

    Hi Max,

Since the issue is happening on computers that are part of a domain, we suggest posting this issue on this link instead:
Technet forums. We got IT Professionals (as the usual audience) in this forum who
would be able to provide the best answer possible for your query

    Regards.

  3. Post Windows 10 Creators Update issues

I'm a Network Admin for a company and only a handful of us use Windows 10, so these are
domain joined devices. After the Creators update, we all have the exact same issues...

    1. Unable to print PDFs from Edge (I personally don't use Edge)

    2. Opening All Settings windows, they crash - as soon as you open them they disappear and you have to perform the action repeatedly until they stay open. I am trying to get to the link to uninstall this update and every time I actually
get to that point, it disappears anyway. If you log in with the Domain Administrator account, the All Settings windows open up just fine. If you're thinking perms like me; nope, the windows do eventually stay open randomly but then close on their own.

    * These are just our initial findings but very painful!

So far I have done the following...

    1. DISM commands to scan the health of the image, check the health, and finally restored the health -
    Did not work

    2. SFC /scannow - showed there was no corruption so this
    did not work

    3. ChkDsk /f and Defragmented (for fun) -
    Did not work

Thank you in advance - hopefully someone has something that will actually work and fix the issue. Also, I thought there would be some more options for applying updates like you were able to in Windows 7? I'm not seeing much difference in the update.

    Max

Maybe revert to the previous installation until the CU problems are fixed?

Revert ? 'Hell no!' Neither possible nor desired.
