    A good 64 Bit AntiVirus


    Some of the things I've read say defender is not actually the fastest performance wise (not speaking about scan speed). I was going with avira but got tired of all the pop UPS. Currently using avast!. I'm willing to change if a faster free av is advised.

    What popups? *Biggrin
    if you disable avgnt (avira control center) from running at startup with something like Autoruns, you hardly see any popups (only on full product version updates, not on definition updates)

    I run virtual copies of win10 on a host machine. The instances that have windows defender disabled on them and use webroot run noticeably faster. If I use a 3rd party anti-virus, I like to make sure defender is disabled. Great way to kill performance is run 2 anti-virus apps.

    I think Kaspersky is "not yet ready for prime time" where W10 is concerned.
