A laptop with Windows 10 from overseas.

So i bought a laptop with Windows 10 when i was in the Netherlands, but i can't seem to fully change to English.

The problem is that even after changing everything to english, some control panel menus and other important stuff still display dutch language, such as the network adapter window. There are many other small little things like these.

Another annoying thing is that sometimes it just randomly puts back Dutch input language, and i can't even remove it because it is not visible in the language settings, signing out fixes it.

I tried a few CMD commands that would change locales to English, and whilst that did help with Windows booting up and lockscreen being English, there's still some bits left.

Is there any fix besides re-installing windows?

And can i use the same Windows key that came preinstalled with this Laptop?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
