Why are you so angry to start name calling?

Are you of the opinion everyone should use a Microsoft account? Is Microsoft going to make their account logon a prerequisite to run Windows 10 after it is fully developed? They could save a lot of people a lot of time by stating what they're going to do. Do you know what the finished product will require? He really can't help or control himself best to ignore *Wink

  2. What's your favourite:
    • Colour?
    • Food?
    • Car Brand?

Scam artists rely on their victim's conscious/subconscious biases.

    Really?

I see various different camps on TenForums:
    • OS agnostic
    • Anti-Linux
    • Anti-Apple
    • Pro-Metro GUI
    • Pro-WIMP GUI

This guy is so full of himself that he cannot be anything other than biased. *Smile You guys obviously "don't get out much".

My friend writes his blog articles in that exact same style (i.e. smart-mouthed know-it-all).

*Wink I get out a lot. *Wink

Back to topic, there are so many people with blogs today it's sort of silly. Just because someone has one doesn't mean that they're an expert on anything let alone Windows. Yes, they're allowed to have an opinion but they're thoughts should be based in facts.

    Facts are good things. *Wink

    Indeed.

A one or two thousand word article with a few screenshots, of a multi-million line OS, can't seriously be called "... the most detailed and honest Windows 10 review you will ever have read, ..."

That's a weird thing to say considering you live in the "Land of Free Speech":
    • Religion
    • Politicians
    • Advertisers
    • etc.

First off were talking about a review on an OS and facts sure do help support someones argument, don't it?? And how does the length of a blog make the blog anymore accurate?? For me at least it doesn't. Anyone can ramble on about anything and that doesn't make it accurate. Facts are where it's at and the article/blog in the OP didn't have them correct.

Yep, me too! Cortana is so "in your face" that I immediately took except to it. For those who do like Cortana, it would be nice if there's a choice between male and female.

Search gives more options than first glance will show . . .

I don't really want to install Classic Shell, but will if need be.

Same here, Dave. I have my computers networked so I really need to I guess.

How did you limit it to just your computer? When I search without using IE, I just want to find something in my computer; it's not out there on the Internet.

I just installed Classic Shell myself, after changing back to the Start Screen. I like it better than the native Start Menu.

With Classic Shell, you don't really remove the native start menu. You can go back to it anytime with the included shortcut.

See the difference?? Umm, "in the OP" threw me off. I'm not going to "correct" anyone's English, but I would have said, "in the OP's post". If I had seen that, I wouldn't have been thrown off. Ummm, did I just correct someone's English????

Seriously, though, Jeff, I didn't mean to put words in your paws. *Redface
