  1. A question about using the advanced custom scaling option in Windows 10

As we all know Windows 10 has scaling options and they are fixed at 100%, 125%, 150%, etc.

However, there is that advanced custom scaling option that allows you to type in anything as long as it is between 100-500 but next to this it says "Not Recommend"

    Why is that?

I'm asking because I want to use 133 as my scaling. If I understand correctly this will make everything on my 32-inch 1440p monitor appear the same size as if I was using 1080p resolution. Old habits die hard I suppose.

Is there a reason I shouldn't use 133 and should just stick to the standards like 125 or 150 instead?

And to be clear, 125 scaling on my 32-inch 1440p monitor is "good enough" for me BUT I very occasionally still feel like my eyes are straining at times and yet 150 scaling is a tad too big so that's how I came up with the idea of using 133 scaling for 1080p like size.

    Hope this makes sense.

I guess my concern is ... is there some weird "math" to scaling at 133 vs 125 or 150 and why does Windows 10 give you the option of typing in any number you want (100-500) but then says, "Not Recommend"?
