Windows 10: A question for the ambassadors

I bet many of you have at least once responded to a comment about unfair bannings. and i would like to know your opinion on whether you believe. Bannings and how they are currently resolved are just and fair. At this current time i can honestly say that I am shocked with the latent disregard of context in the banning process. I can understand that having to Ban people through peoples reports, malicious or not can be extremely hard. so...why not do away with bannings, at least communication bannings. most bannings are done after a player has commented to another player after playing an 18+ game. which most likely has rightfully earned that title. so why after that does a person need to be protected from nasty or offensive word. This reason alone seems a big enough reason to do away with the system. Another reason is that. who, WHO DOES THIS REALLY PROTECT!? at the end of the day...there just words. And theirs a bloody mute button for goodness sake. that feature should be the key component to fight against Le mean words. Why punish people for saying things if nobody can hear them am i right?

I consider myself LGBT and i really don't need the banning feature. i have thick skin you see and i feel as though banning for homophobic offenses, just stirs more hate, i love combating their opinions, but ironically i must censor myself in fear of being banned. You see why this helps LITERATELY nobody. Except those 12 year olds who use it once the heat turns up during a debate (That they definitely started). At the end of the day, were all human. Words don't harm. and why punish people for innocent mistakes that are harmless. I feel as if the banning system has many implements from the current political climate mainly from the...*sigh*...Left and i believe this only through observation on Ambassador responses to others points on the subject of bannings. The word "Hate speech" or a variation being common place during responses, (i would love to hear other Ambassadors response to this observation and ask you don't overlook this if you respond. Cheers, also please don't Lock this post, i feel its a great atmosphere for fair debate, and can actually help players and ambassadors see eye to eye)
