    Hi there,

My PC is reasonably mature now and after getting a few BSOD's I just thought I was getting a little unlucky every so often. However they are now increasing in frequency and I can't seem to see a recurring theme in-between them.

Here's the log file. Hope it helps. I'm happy to provide any more info required.

Thanks a lot for any help at all in advance

    :)

We do need the actual log files (called a DMP files) as they contain the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

Please follow our instructions for finding and uploading the files we need to help you fix your computer. They can be found here
If you have any questions about the procedure please ask

What is your computer make and model? If not a branded computer what is your motherboard make and model?

Please download and run Driver View and upload a copy of the report it produces to your OneDrive. To get a report on all drivers select Edit, Select All followed by File, Save Selected Items. Text file format please, HTML files are less easy

Please make sure to remove all pirated stuff from your system before we can start troubleshooting.

  5. Hi, thanks for the quick reply.

The autoKMS.exe program was something I foolishly tried to use after I upgraded to Windows 10 and transferred data from my hard drive to my SSD. I had a valid copy of Microsoft office professional 2010 but couldn't find the activation key so I tried to use that program to allow myself to use the copy of office. Since then I have stopped using MS Office 2010 and I have a University version of Office 365 that's valid for the next four years. I've deleted the autoKMS.exe, if you'd like me to give any other proof that I am not pirating I'd be happy to.

Please remove Office, the autokms program spoofs Office to activate it. The modifications could cause the program to behave in unexpected ways what could cause more harm then good.

  7. Fair enough, don't need the 2010 one anyway now I have 365. Would you like me to reupload the Log file?

My focus will in this post be to remove as much as possible outdated drivers by updating or removing associated stuff.
I might forget a few drivers in my first attempt, but we'll find them the second time *Smile

Just in case, if you are using a program like Ccleaner please stop using it while troubleshooting.
This because programs like Ccleaner remove dump files that are needed to troubleshoot.
Or configure Ccleaner to not remove dump files:

Please remove / disable items from the startup in taskmanager
These programs could interfere with the boot process giving you trouble and increase the boot time.

Please remove all USB devices except for mouse and keyboard, USB devices are known for being problematic sometimes.

Please uninstall or update ASUS ROG Game First II
Please uninstall Norton while troubleshooting and use Windows Defender as alternative.

  11. Alright, after a lot of rebooting and installing/uninstalling I have done all of the above. So far no further BSOD's have appeared. Hopefully it'll stay that way. I'll post back in this thread if I get anything new though. Unless there's anything else you suggest doing?

As you can see from the quick snap I took, the voltage readings seem fairly normal too.
