Windows 10: A stranger in my library?

Hi,

I've just recently bought a new notebook running on Windows 10, which is new to me. So I'm discovering and may just ask a silly thing.

In putting my programs and files on this device I discovered that all of a sudden an icon with my user name (see attachment) appeared in my library. In fact it duplicates the folders and adds some stuff (favorites, saved games etc.). As it wasn't there before I am wondering if this is normal or if I'm being spied on... or something. In trying to get my old programs to work (thank you Microsoft...) I may have been visiting some shadier websites. I haven't been able to find any image on the internet of a Library in Windows 10 that shows such an icon, which really makes me wonder what it is doing there...

It may have nothing to do with it but I also I noticed that I do not have a "Library Tools Manage" tab (it does appear on C drive etc. but not my library. I wanted to try to restore the settings of the library to see if that helped.

Map a network drive folder to my video library

To Include folders using Manage Library Tools, we suggest that you perform the steps below:

• In File Explorer, select or open a library (ex: Videos) you want to include a folder or drive to.
• Click on the Library Tools Manage tab, and click on the Manage library button in the ribbon.
• Click on the Add button
• Browse to and select a folder or drive that you want to include in this library, and click on the Include folder button.
• When finished, click/tap on OK.

Delete a Library in Windows 10

I would suggest you to restore the Libraries and then try deleting the Library folder.

• Press Windows + E keys from the Keyboard to open the
  File Explorer.

Duplicate Music Library Sign Windows 10

Method: Restore default Libraries

I would suggest you try the restore library option and check if it helps. Please back up all the files in the library before trying this, just to make sure you don’t lose any files. Refer these steps:

• Open Windows explorer
• In the left panel, locate Library and right click on it
• Click “restore default libraries” option
• Check if the issue persists.
