  1. AAOEM and New Build

I am building a new PC and am looking at my version of Windows, which I purchased for the last build. I am reading and seeing that OEM versions cannot be transferred. What I'm a little confused about is I purchased Windows separately for my last build, so it wasn't pre-installed. Is it possible to purchase an OEM version independent of a manufacturer's build like Dell or HP? I'm just trying to determine if I can deactivate my copy and reactivate on the new build or am I going to need to purchase a new license?

    :)

is it possible to hand build a motherboard?

Might I suggest you simply build a computer, making notes and taking pictures step by step. Most people (probably including your teacher) have no idea even where to start building a computer. You'll do fine, and if you get stuck we're here to help ya out! *Toast :toast:
