Windows 10: ab.pdf couldnt download error

I am trying to use the Microsoft print to PDF option to save some documents as a PDF and I keep getting the ab.pdf error message. I also went to go and try to download Adobe Acrobat and that had an download error as well. There is not much information on how to solve this solution on the web. Can anyone help me with this???

ABS PDF Driver V400 for VISTA

When I try to print anything using ABS PDF Driver V400 I get error message reading: "Printer not activated error code- 30".

I am using VISTA HOME PREMIUM SERVICE PACK 2. How do I locate/download/update the driver/printer AND ACTIVATE IT ?

ON Forums I don't see any helpful solution.particularly for Vista. Kindly help.

Printing to PDF from scanned document

I have Office 365 and I can print to my Canon printer. I have a printer listed as ABS PDF Driver v400, which I am assuming will print the file to a PDF. When I print to it, it gives me an error "Printer not activated code - 30" Could someone help or give
me a suggesting so I can print a PDF file? Thank you.

Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

• Does the issue persist in Edge browser?
• Do you get similar error when you open the PDF file in Adobe reader?

Check if you are facing similar issue in Edge browser.



Step 1: Open PDF file in Adobe reader and check if you are facing similar issue.



To open PDF file directly from Adobe reader, follow the steps below:

• Open Adobe application and click on Edit.
• Click on Preferences and select Internet.
• Uncheck Display PDF in Browser option and check if you are able to open the PDF file without getting the error code.

Step 2: If you are able to open PDF file in Adobe reader, I suggest you to
Turn off Internet Explorer,
enable it again and check if the issue is resolved.
