    AC Wifi and N Wifi


    Hello! I'm having a problem with my new laptop. Basically, my laptop connects most of the time with the protocol 802.11n 2.4Ghz which is too slow for me 5mb/s. Sometimes it connects to the AC protocol and my internet is very fast!

    So why it does not stick in the AC? Thank you

    Solved - Ethernet over power vs WiFi

    What kind of WiFi does your router support? Is it 2.4 and 5GHz? Wireless N or AC? I guess the important thing is what router do you currently have?

    And when you say WiFi Amplifier, do you mean a WiFi extender?

    Will a laptop boot if I remove internal Wifi-card and detach antenna wires ?

    I still don't see why the the old card needs to be "physically" removed.

    I was wondering can you put anything as a wifi name for example I wanted to put CIA-outpost-#### random number is that illegal? I've seen FBI surveillance van 006 before on my list of wifi names I can pick up.
