Windows 10: Access denied issues

Thanks Dave, and to you. BTW, my method with programs is to research them, and to go for those vouched for by reputable sites. I've not - so far - had any problems.

When running into those kind of permission problems and even "Take Ownership" doesn't help then I'd suggest this which has always helped me:

Download and install: subinacl.msi

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=23510

Then run the following batch file from admin command prompt:

Quite often permissions end up messed up when disks are cloned and disk id's aren't identical. That and probably other mysterious reasons, I guess. *sarc

Hi and thanks, all help is appreciated.
I'm not against having to working a little bit to get, and or keep, my computer working right. However, this kind of thing goes beyond the call of duty for us users.
Again I do appreciate your input, two heads are always better than one when solving problems.
