Windows 10: Access Denied on various websites

I'm using Windows 10 Pro, version 2004. Today I tried logging into my bank's online access and received an "Access denied. You do not have permission...". I also tried going to https://www.washingtonpost.com and got the same message. I noticed that the website listed in the "Access Denied" message listed http://www.washingtonpost.com, not https.

Of 138 websites that I have logons to, 5 are giving me this problem. Thinking this was a problem on my Dell laptop, I went to my wife's Dell PC and discovered the same problems when she tried to logon. I have a HP laptop that was last used online about 5 days ago that also behaves the same.

This happens using the new Edge browser, Firefox and Chrome. I've checked other posts about this and have tried to reset the DNS settings, flushing the DNS cache, clearing browser cache and finally going so far to perform a clean install of Windows. No change there.

Going into Settings and using the Network Troubleshooter, I have the Troubleshooter check the individual URLs I'm having trouble with and get the same results every time - Error 403, contact the website owner. When I do contact them, I'm told the problem is on my end.

I've also rebooted my gateway and tried tethering my phone to the computer, using a different ISP, to no avail.

Any other ideas or suggestions?

Router Denying Websites

My Router is denying certain websites, from a certain Server, but I don't remember equipping it to do so. It's a seemingly random occurance (which will not stop). Server's websites are perfectly accessible once the router is removed and straight cable connection is used instead. Frustrating.

I've tried resetting the router, but it doesn't want to for some reason (held and pressed button for 15 secs).

Any suggestions? *Wtf :wtf:

• What is the exact error message when accessing a website?
• Have you tried updating your computer? It could be that there are missing features on your current system that needs to be installed. If you haven't updated your computer yet, try updating it. It will do the trick.
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
