    opening .dds files with gimp

Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

I accidentally changed the file association of OCX files. How can I change it back?

I accidentally chose to open an OCX file with Notepad and a default into that. If I try to change the file association to something else it does not have anything listed that would open an OCX file because it's an unknown type. Any help would be great thank
    you.
