  1. Accidentally moved all my files to OneDrive

After a buggy Windows update last month, my OS deleted itself. I had to reinstall Windows via USB and accepted OneDrive backup on setup. I didn't realize this would upload nearly all of my personal files to OneDrive. As I was trying to unlink my documents and pictures folders from OneDrive, I, like a dum dum, clicked "free up space" on my documents folder, which moved its 34-gig contents to my OneDrive, resulting in a solitary "Where are my files" shortcut to OneDrive where my documents should be. OneDrive has been uploading for days now and it's only 500 MB uploaded. How do I undo this transfer and get my files back on my hard drive without having to upload all 34 GB to OneDrive? Every time I resume syncing, the wifi in my house goes out. I literally can't use the internet while OneDrive is uploading, and at this rate, it'll take weeks to upload. I lose my 1 TB of OneDrive on December 5th, so I don't even know where my cloud files will go once that date hits.

Is it possible to restore my files to the hard drive without syncing anything? Please help!

    :)

  2. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.
